Lee Mowry

President & CEO

When Lee Mowry joined One Life in 2014 as Vice President of Sales and later as Chief Marketing Officer, he worked to grow the brokerage side of the business, recruit and train agents and help negotiate contracts with new carriers. 

He graduated from Georgia Tech as an engineer, then became an insurance agent in 1970 and built a successful independent marketing organization.

He joined Occidental Life of North Carolina as Vice President of Marketing in 1993. In 1998 he moved to Shenandoah Life as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. He spent 11 years there before joining AmeriLife, where he was President of the IMO division for five years before being recruited to join the One Life team.

Mowry says “I’ve finally landed my dream job with the dream team.”

Upon receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in 1989, Mike began his career full-time in the insurance field excelling in the 403(b) & 501c(3) markets. He also worked the small group health and individual life sales markets with his primary focus being on mortgage and asset protection, as well as pension maximization.

Mike left ITT Hartford in 1997 to join a small insurance marketing organization (IMO) startup in Sacramento, where he developed and implemented the mortgage life sales system as well as the life agency management model. Mike traveled the country for this IMO building a number of regionally-based agencies and helping the company grow to over $60 million in annual premium revenue. The IMO was then sold to Fiserv, a Fortune 500 Company. Mike retained his role as National Sales Manager of the IMO for Fiserv until December of 2008 when he, along with the then President of the IMO, purchased the company back from Fiserv. Mike continued in his role as National Sales Manager with this organization until December 2010.

Throughout his career, Neil has been a leader in sales with his best AEP ever doing over 680 enrollments in 1999. Neil is here to serve the next generation of MA producers and agency owners to help grow your book of business and their agencies. We will accomplish this by learning what he did to consistently be in the top 1% of MA sales producers.
 
Neil’s hobbies include coaching middle school football for over 20 years, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, playing golf, and spending quality time with my beautiful family that includes my wife Sherry, kids Rocco, Jake, Jessica, and three grandchildren Lestat, Mihayla and Sonvi. 

Eric Salazar currently serves as the Vice President of One Life Direct. This position oversees all sales consultants and their performance relative to distribution growth to include; Lead relationships, Carrier relationships, assists in product development, and hosts the weekly national call.

Eric obtained his Life and Health licenses in 1999 starting with Bankers Life and Casualty. Since then, Eric has transition to almost every corner of sales; Mortgage Protection, Final Expense, IULs, Single Premium WL, and Annuities. Now Eric has a passion for building relationships with Agents, nationwide, to help better their own businesses.

Eric says, ‘I have a passion for helping people and have found throughout the years that putting agents first to help them grow, creates a mutually beneficial relationship that goes beyond just contracts and leads. I look to create long lasting meaningful relationships with agents that choose to partner with us.’
